I find it borderline unhinged that people in games, both audience and publisher, seem to regard remakes as the "canonical version" of something. Imagine having to convince Universal to re-issue Hitchcock's Psycho because the Van Sant version exists. The Playstation RE games are *foundational texts*.

That show got to mix in so much horror. It kinda breaks my brain that the "Nightmare Assault" episode was Dream Warriors before Elm Street 3 even came out. And one nightmare is in a junkyard (the location, not the good dog named Junkyard).

Surprisingly, Iron Man #200 (Nov 1985) was NOT the first appearance of the Silver Centurion. Due to a scheduling error it appeared for the first time in WCA #1 the previous month, though that story takes place after IM 200

Our lineup had HBO at 2 and Youngstown stations before most of the Cleveland stations, but I think WEWS was in that same number 5 spot. I think Prevue was somewhere near 13 on our lineup, too.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS was being developed at the same time Pac-Man's Ghostly Adventures era was in full swing.

Despite this, Masahiro Sakurai went with Pac-Man's iconic look, and would've considered dropping the character altogether if he had to use the redesign.
