Migrated from the hell hole and found it much better for my mental health here. I live a quiet retired life in rural Suffolk, UK with Himself who is finally working part-time in the wind down to retirement, 12 yr old arthritic dog, 2 cats and 6 chickens.

I'm finding it more and more unbelievable that he was a human rights lawyer and knighted for his work. He has a totally blinkered view where Israel is concerned. Presumably due to his Zionist donors 🤔

Sadly most vet practices are now owned by private equity firms who just see us pet owners as an opportunity to make as much money for themselves as they can. My practice now requires us to travel 30 miles to another town for an out of hours consultation and pay £300 minimum for the privilege.

Ah ha. I think between us we've found the cause. I should still raise it with GP as the dose might be too high for your body to tolerate. Since my meds went back to the original increase the numbness in my feet went and tingling stopped. Mind you my GP didn't think it could possibly be that!

You're not the only one! I'm hard pressed to remember what I've said most days 🤣

He did this on request of British and American Arms manufacturers.

The outgoing UK judge at the European Court of Human Rights, Tim Eicke KC: "We can be certain that over the last 70 years, the convention has repeatedly stepped in when domestic courts were unable to provide the protection we now take for granted and cherish."

Most of the indigenous population don't even have an O level (or whatever the subsequent equivalent is) in it. Seems a bit rich to expect migrants to have a better command of English than they do! Especially as they probably already speak more than one other language. Unlike the English.

Yes I've followed her for years first in the other place and now here. I know there's a huge spike as I've had what can only have been it along with husband and most people I've spoken to. Makes no sense to not vaccinate as many as poss to keep us out of hospital when it'd be more costly.

Morning. Another day with a blanket of cloud spreading gloom over us in the east. Met Office says there may be some bright spells but these are "of low confidence". Hmm not good enough. Visit today from friend with new puppy and her big sister will brighten me. With my dog too chaos will ensue 😅

Not heard of Blis K12. Will have to seek it out. This year I'm not eligible for a vaccine despite my asthma and high blood pressure as apparently I'm not worth the cost. Even though I am worth the cost of flu, pneumonia and shingles vaccines this year. How much extra will a 4th jab be? No sense 😡

Can't read the article as the Independent wants me to pay for it but I take it he hasn't said he'll now campaign for more funding for the NHS and will pay the taxes he should rather than avoiding them through loopholes and that he's going to stop being a loudmouth who speaks before thinking?

To be fair he always has been a disgrace 😉

"We as a nation cannot afford" the NHS, to quote you Jeremy, because people like you would rather pour large sums of money into private medicine, which then can't help you, so you have to draw on the resources you have rubbished. Alexa, would you be so good as to show me a hypocritical parasite?

They say power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It's true of all politicians who make it anywhere near the top. Any morals and codes of value go flying out the window once they experience a bit of power over others. We've seen it time and again.

I don't think this perpetual gloomy cloud hanging over helps. We're in for it again today so yet another day of having to pay for electricity 😡 Good luck with the Scarefest prep and the open mic practice. I'm cheering myself up with a visit from a friend with her new puppy 🐕

Oh no that's awful. So worrying when you aren't in a position to just walk away. Everything is getting more and more expensive and the world more and more unstable politically that it just leaves you in a perpetual feeling of stress. No wonder so many aren't sleeping well. Sending hugs x

Morning. Too dark to see what it's like out. Cats are fed but not let hens out yet. Exciting day today. My friend is bringing new Golden Retriever puppy Bree to meet me after her 2nd jab along with big sister Isla. Must hide my dog's favourite toys as she gets possessive! Chaos will ensue 🤣

Morning Nina. I'd get that checked out but numbness and pins and needles can be a side effect of a lot of the blood pressure medication prescribed. It's listed as a less common one but on Stroke Association and British Heart Foundation message boards I found many have it with high dosages as I did.

Yes not all but enough could have stopped him from becoming Leader before it even got to the stage when he was in put in that position and chucked the sensible ones out. The episode when he went to Lebedev's villa without his security detail after the NATO meeting was well known and suspect as hell.

In my experience boy cats are always dim as a night light bulb 😉 At least the last one we had was. And so is the current one!

Had my flu jab and pneumonia jab as well. I asked about a Covid jab but even though I have asthma and high blood pressure they told me I don't qualify this year. So they are quite happy to let someone at risk of a stroke and heart attack catch something that causes cardiovascular problems 🤬

Lovely to see Ginger and Adam back home. But SNOW 😱 That's a bit early! It's only October.
