My daughter is finally tall enough to reach the water, but usually the soap is attached to the wall so high that I have to grab her some. And if there are paper towels they're usually too high for her to reach too. 😬

When I'm finally in charge, I'm going to require step stools be added to bathrooms. There are changing tables in many public restrooms, which is good but something you only need for a couple years (and I think I've only used once, ever), but kids need step stools at the sink for like 5+ years.

Having just completed a road trip with a child who can't use public restrooms alone, I don't think I want to take another one until she's much, much older! I can't imagine traveling with three young kids.

Periodic reminder that food banks usually prefer monetary donations both so that they can buy what they most need and because somehow they can get more with it than individuals can.

Donating money to your local food bank > donating food

Food is not a luxury, it’s necessary for survival.

Things will fall apart when folks can’t feed themselves or their families.

Many don’t even know they won’t be receiving their SNAP.

This is a systemic problem. We have to fix it together.

We need to warn people. Scale up food donations. Prepare.

Amazing that just mere weeks ago, Republican governors were so concerned about the health of SNAP recipients that they staged photo ops when they banned the use of SNAP for purchasing soda.

Now apparently they think SNAP recipients shouldn’t even be able to buy food at all.
