The only one I follow is Al Jazeera but I think the Guardian's on here too, but there are plenty of informed people posting on specialist news topics. Eg Ketan Joshi curates an environmental feed called Greensky

You do understand that 4.5% unemployment is not high tho right? And you do understand that a MoM change in rates will not impact the unemployment rate the following month.

Interest rates are not high. And cutting them so people can finance their next trinket is not the move

The bad scenario I see people talking about (MT Sweeney on here e.g.) is a real face to face liberal arts education for the children of the elite and intellectuals, religious/patriotic charter schools for the middle class, and basically kid jail/work programs for the poor kids
