I'm sure Linux has enough options, but my problem is I have like 13 years worth of .sai file extensions.
Maybe I should try to get Paint Tool SAI working on my Steam Deck. If that works out well enough maybe I can consider Linux for my next desktop.

If you haven't seen Twin Peaks yet, I won't spoil it for you – but this is the most important scene in the entire show.
Twin Peaks: Agent Cooper, face to face with a llama.
Agent Cooper, face to face with a llama. Twin Peaks S01E05 - The One-Armed Man.
Imo Kenneth Branagh's Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is severely underrated. I think it being more introspective and morally gray clashed with what audience wanted from a "horror" film and is what generally sank it.

This movie isn't "creature = evil" AT ALL.
Also the article is just wrong. Frankenstein didn't give the creature the brain of a criminal, he took the body of a man (De Niro) who killed in self-defense (albeit because he was terrified at being forced to take the smallpox vaccine) and put the brain of his mentor (Cleese) in it.
I had a wildly different interpretation of the 1994 movie. At no point did I interpret it as Frankenstein being a good guy and the creature as (born) evil. At worst it made Frankenstein's evil less about cartoonish stupidity and negligence, and instead turned it to his compulsions and human folly.
There have been so many adaptations of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, but none of them truly do the novel justice; ahead of Guillermo del Toro's take, @kradec.bsky.social looks at five movies that try to capture the brilliance of the original.

Putting Dante in everything: part 30

Clock Tower: Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry™ Series
Damn

Dead or Alive is the only traditional fighting series that ever clicked for me and I was just getting into Ninja Gaiden. 😔
Tomonobu Itagaki (creator of Ninja Gaiden 2004, Dead or Alive) has passed away according to his Facebook
But has he even said "thank you"???
Honestly the last 20 years have been the slow realization that the Nintendo I miss was mostly just Rare.

Nintendo themselves during the N64 and GameCube eras were still trying to stylistically keep up with Rare but after that they kinda stopped bothering and went back to that placeholder look.
I swear, console generations have become a scam to sell you The Last of Us again.
For the record, the science fiction group showed off Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Which I'm not very happy about either.
High school, 20 years ago.

We were doing group projects based on film genres. My group had fantasy.

At the end the teacher chastised us for ignoring famous "fantasy" film Jurassic Park.

I can & will talk at length about Jurassic Park, but that's textbook SCIENCE FICTION. I think about this often.
What meaningless thing/experience are you still mad about? Like it should not matter at all, DOES not matter at all. But you’re still MAD.

And how long has it been?

I bought some bagels at Hy-Vee four years ago. So bad. Too big. Hard. Bland. WORTHLESS.

I’m still FURIOUS.
Lately on TV they've been playing A LOT of documentaries reevaluating all the myths surrounding American Exceptionalism.

Must be a coincidence. 🤔
Rude of them to base Dankovsky on me.
Wild how the Right thinks their misfortune is all down to demons, and not the God they all insist is real hating their fucking guts.

Happy 24th Anniversary to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - and the debut of Maya Fey!! 🥳💜🖤

(Probably the debut of some other characters too but their names escape me)

A scribbly digital drawing of Maya Fey from Ace Attorney in a simple kawaii style. She has her mouth open in a big smile and is in a happy, bouncy pose with her arms stretched out beside her and the back of her hair flying upwards. She's surrounded by multicoloured birthday confetti and a big "24!"
Y'all think Dutch sounds like Jar Jar Binks?

Wait until you encounter West-Flemish, which sounds like Sebulba.

Game Boy Color visions of a Bitter Coast journey to Vivec.

Trying out a lil Game Boy game jam Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind fan adventure game that's got a whole glob of talent and charm behind it.
A pixel GBC scene of a silt strider rising above a fittingly swampy and tall mushroom strewn landscape in horizontal perspective. A tall grey mountain rises above the dithered mist.
