Pluto, one the best shows on TV in the last 5 years and a huge deal it was getting animated got 1 teaser about 9 months before release then slipped every 1 minute teaser under the radar on their YouTube channel. Only think it did well cause of crazy word of mouth

It’s not that anime is worse overall now. There’s just so much being made at once that it’s harder to find the good stuff. It’s worth trying, though! Some of the best shows I’ve ever seen have been in the last five years!

The reason 30 Rock succeeds years later while parks and rec has aged like a toilet full of milk, is that 30 Rock doesnt shy away from portraying Liz Lemon as an obvious villian with a victim/hero complex, whereas Leslie Knope was played just a straight hero character, even tho she is a neolib shill

Skimming through the new Batman issue. One nitpick is how none of the artists keep track of how old Bernard and Tim are exactly, so their physical age keeps fluctuating across comics. Bernard looks like a 13-year-old in the second page here.

It's why whenever they have those DNC conventions or RNC conventions, it's alien to me. I don't notice the inherent value or nature to them besides an excuse for people to get together and get drunk while pretending it's for a bigger cause.
