Chances for heavy rain will increase in the southern Plains and Mississippi Valley beginning on Thursday in KS/OK, pushing east into the weekend. Head to weather.gov as we approach late-week for the latest on what to expect.

Forecast rainfall totals from Tuesday through Saturday showing widespread 2–4 inches across central and eastern Texas, Oklahoma, and southern Kansas, with locally higher amounts near Oklahoma City and Dallas. Lighter rainfall extends into Arkansas, Louisiana, and the lower Mississippi Valley.
