The Drs are striking because the woeful state of our health system is endangering patients (and them) and they simply can’t stretch themselves or their resources any further. It’s a last resort.
It is NOT them who need the lecture on ethics.

Meanwhile crimes are up, they can't even recruit 30 of the promised 500 new cops, police don't even bother to investigate over 5000 retail crimes & a raging meth & cocaine crisis goes ignored #nzpol Photo courtesy @petesi.me

The Whanau Wall will be expanding in 2026 to 60 portraits from the collective for a show in Montreal Canada. This is our installation from Kassel, Germany 2022, Trinity Square in Toronto in 2023, and the Substation in Melbourne Australia in 2024. Enjoying the evolution as it travels.

gee whiz mr bolger was a complex character, but you have to admire the unbreakable conviction on the treaty partnership staring down his own cabinet, his party, his social base, and a majority of new zealanders. no way a politician would have the courage to do the same today x

I wish NZ Labour could understand they can make bold, daring, (controversial even!) statements about future direction without releasing detailed policy.

And when the Right demand policy, refuse and reiterate your point and use it to attack their failures harder.

The NZ government prepares a major attack on Māori rights today.

The Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) (Customary Marine Title) Amendment Bill had its third reading today.

This law is UNJUST for three reasons:

When I posted a meme saying that we should support Tish James like we did Jimmy Kimmel, heaps of white people began attacking me. Not on Twitter, here on BlueSky. A whole bunch of guilt ridden, hit dogs came here to holler. The problem with America is that racism survives progressivism.

Love it.
I used to collect comics, all I have left from that period of my life is just under 2000 comics ranging from 2000ads, Marvel publications (specifically X-Men books), some Image imprints and Vertigo books.

A side effect of buying was picking up toys, guess which Marvel character was my favorite 🤓🤣
