Before the genocide began, Gaza required over 500 trucks per day. Israel destroyed all agriculture and fishing boats, but now are limiting aid to 300 trucks per day.

The need is much greater, distribution is much more difficult meaning even more is needed, and they use starvation as a weapon.

Picked this up recently; I’m sad to say I didn’t know anything about Sonallah Ibrahim before his recent passing, and this is the funniest, sharpest, most engaging novel I’ve read all year. A wryly sardonic sort of humour; I’ve cackled aloud several times and I’m barely at 40 pages. A master.

This and the Palestinian hostages are always referred to as anything but, despite returning with signs of psychological and physical torture, missing limbs and eyes… they’re just “Palestinians” or “prisoners.”

I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.
