Like, this isn’t a thing they did once as a teen. This is something they are CURRENTLY doing WHILE having or seeking office. I feel like this is what happened with #MeToo as well. Like OK fine maybe they don’t have to be BANISHED from society, but why is it persecutory for them not to get THIS job?

What I hate about shit like this is that there WERE things that originated in America during that time period (Eugenics as a “science” is the big one) and playing fantasy connect the dots with historical patterns actually takes away from the REAL relationship between world events/historical trends.

The snarkiest an ER doc has ever been in my presence was when I had a nasty abscess & they were about to give me morphine & I told them I didn’t tolerate opioids well & didn’t want a high dose & the doctor replied “Don’t worry, when I start cutting into this thing you’re gonna wish I gave you more.”

I have been to the ER, unfortunately, MANY times & no doctor has EVER made a snarky quip in front of me to another doctor and frankly, I think I’m entitled to compensation.
