to say nothing of the obvious disregard for game history and preservation this is, it's also just face value wrong, RE3Make got its ass beat both in critic and user reviews, nobody really liked it, it's certainly not "the superior experience"

to be clear I get why this happens and I don't even think it's a problem per se, inevitable, even, given I cover some things that are occasionally inaccessible to English speakers. But that doesn't stop it from feeling weird.

its more that its just such an abysmal game that it brings basically no joy to anyone who played it and put Silent Hills reputation in the dumpster for a decade and change

It isn't even interesting in its badness its just inept execution of extremely standard and unimaginative concepts

also I do enjoy how its a remake who's central framing device for it being a remake, is that it's the protagonists telling the story of the original, again, but in a way that makes both of them look better?

it's fun meta stuff that is at times literally in conversation with the original

pretty good, honestly. it's a really interesting case of a remake where the solution to the originals woes of being too big and too slow was they just went mario odyssey on it and made it be full of tons of micro-objectives? also they just unlock your entire moveset at the start
