I don’t know why Janice Stein (Munk School) claimed on @petermansbridge.bsky.social The Bridge that the Palestinian “prisoners” aka hostages held by Israel were essentially Hamas agents that had killed or harmed Israelis when literally every other source says that’s false.

Seeing Ms. Rachel say exactly what needs to be said to Obama is so damn refreshing

Dear President Obama,
I saw in your statement you said "Israeli families" & "the people of Gaza."
Palestinians have families, too.
This kind of language contributes to dehumanization. Dehumanization is part of what caused so many to stay silent as 20,000 children were killed in this genocide.
I've sat with wonderful Palestinian families from Gaza. They look at their children just like we look at ours - with all the love & hope in the world.

I don’t know if One BC will still be around after the next BC election. But if not, I imagine it’ll have pushed the BC conservatives further right. I don’t know how that plays out in BC vs in SK.

Here, Sask Party lost the cities & they keep pushing hard right. Scott Moe is hard right.

Nadine Wilson was kicked out of the Sask Party for lying about her vaccine status, then formed the SUP party around culture war issues.

The party seems to be defunct but it served its purpose. Sask party swung hard right.
