I think in some cases you can make good decisions (based on information at the time) with bad results, and in this case ... You go to Sasaki or Snell, you can't really fault either decision. IMHO

They did Snell dirty by letting it get that close. Also. Easy for me to say, but, I would have let Snell come back out for 9. And now if you're Milwaukee you didn't get dominated, you /know/ the Dodgers can be got to in this current form

At this point, there is a statement from DHS re 🧊 activities in the Chicago area that’s refuted in similar fashion on nearly a daily basis at a minimum over the past week

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

In Portland, an ambulance was summoned to the ICE office to treat an injured protester (not clear how he was injured). But when the patient was loaded inside, ICE officers refused to let the ambulance leave and threatened to shoot the ambulance driver: www.wweek.com/news/2025/10...

What a dichotomy. Chicago Marathon happening while we keep seeing continuous reports of ICE detaining people throughout our immigrant strongholds. A community alert also indicated tear gas deployed in Albany Park.

It boggles the mind how so much of "downstate," and especially the "New Illinoisans," bemoans their proximity to such a global city. The beauty of that being a short drive or train ride away is so lost that they can't fathom the discussions Bill is having in this photo with his constituents.
