🚨In Chicago, ICE tear-gassed a street after residents demanded they release a worker taken from private property. One nurse, struggling to breathe from asthma, still stood her ground and told ICE to leave. 1/2

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

These ICE thugs are now going into people's homes if they see immigrant workers, which is illegal by every law on the book especially the 4th amendment of the Constitution.
In Chicago, ICE kidnapped two workers from people's homes while doing remodeling. People are pissed that ICE is doing this.
The r’s can go nuclear any time & pass their evil policies with 0 democratic votes.
Senate leader Thune can abolish the filibuster to do the dirty deed.
But then r’s won’t have anyone to blame when healthcare costs skyrocket and hospitals across America close. Even Medicare will be affected.
The government is shut down because Trump stooges want to double health insurance costs for struggling Americans.

And now, because Mike Johnson hasn't even had House Republicans show up for work since Sept. 19, many of those Americans are losing food benefits.

Freedom requires friction. It can be no other way.
Watch this video.
This is ICE.
Know that what is happening to our neighbors is brutally WRONG!
This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.
I agree - I’d love to see dems in leadership set up a more clearly defined opposition operation!!!

Just checking: the republicans that attacked and sent marshals to arrest Texas dems for not showing up to work (in an effort to protect voting rights, btw) are the same republicans that are not showing up to work, yeah?
Too bad we have to be surprised when any conservative media outlet actually names it when trump does something horrendous like bulldozing the east wing of a house that is definitely NOT his.
Maybe, just maybe, legal wrangling over this situation can prevent him from building what he has planned.
The fascist team expands.
"The Republican National Committee’s lead elections attorney, who is a close ally of conservative legal advocate Mike Davis, has joined the White House Counsel’s office to work on judicial nominations" news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/...
May I present a former clerk to Justice Gorsuch.
trump happened.
If the ACA is something that can be decided on after the shutdown is over then why not just work on that separately now so it's not a issue with opening up the
government. What ever happened with negotiating instead of being total idiots. 🔄

45 years ago 1 income could buy a home, car, and an education.

Then Reagan began dismantling the New Deal and today 2 incomes can barely afford rent, gas and childcare.

We went from “we’re all in this together” to “you’re on your own kid”.

Trump is finishing the job.

📌 Too bad we don't have a

President 😪 Oh wait ‼️⤵️🐥
The grand plan is Project 2025. While dickhead Miller is giving evil rants to get a hard on Russell Vought is slogging away at OMB hoarding our tax $ appropriated by congress so trump can use the $ for corrupt favors while making sure to withhold funds as revenge. Vought is demolishing the govt.
There’s no grand plan. Stephen Miller gets off on deranged murder like a fucked up kid roasting insects with a magnifying glass.
Yes = democracy
No = dictatorship
Right here in PA.

It matters - it’s not about policy any more or red vs. blue …
The question is do PA residents want a court that will protect your vote and your right to due process or not????
Vote YES for Dougherty, Donohue & Wecht on 11/4/2025!!!
If Dems win the Supreme Court races in Pennsylvania in 9 days, it’s extremely likely the GOP can’t get a majority on that court until 2029.

The GOP really wants to have this majority during the 2028 presidential race.

Can’t put the stakes any more clearly than that. boltsmag.org/pennsylvania...
Inside the Clunky Elections to Control Pennsylvania's Supreme Court - Bolts
The GOP is making an expensive push to end Democrats’ majority on a court at the center of election lawsuits, sparking a fledging campaign season with little precedent or template.

Now that gun violence in Philadelphia is on a sustained downward trajectory, the city is trying to figure out what to do next. So for the first time in its history, the Philadelphia Police Department is developing a five-year strategic plan designed to enhance public safety.
Here’s What Philadelphians Want to See in the City's Plan to Boost Public Safety
A safer city depends on crime prevention and lower gun violence, but also better coordination between stakeholders, residents tell The Trace.
