So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

SecDef announces another (now 10th) lawless strike in the Caribbean.

Allegedly the vessel was operated by Tren de Aragua.

Despite the administration's bogus "narco-terrorism" framing, this is not a counterterrorism action and there is no armed conflict.

Just illegal, premeditated killing.

Spectacular(ly scary) article.

I discovered @sarahkendzior.bsky.social in 2015 & a decade later she's still my go-to on all-things autocracy.

"The Trump administration is a transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government".

Follow her. You won't regret it, I promise
In 2005, I wrote an article called "Inventing Akromiya" about how the government of Uzbekistan made up a group called Akromiya to justify a massacre of civilian protesters.

Twenty years later, the US is more like Uzbekistan, and I wrote "Inventing Antifa": sarahkendzior.substack.com/p/inventing-...
Inventing Antifa
In 2005, the Uzbek government invented a group called “Akromiya” to justify massacring protesters. Now I worry the US government will do the same.

FYI :“Destruction of federal property is a federal crime. 18 U.S. Code § 1361 defines the crime as willfully injuring or committing any depredation against U.S. government property. If the damage exceeds $1k it is a felony with a fine, up to ten years in prison or both.”

Awaiting law enforcement.

For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.

That’s the shift between Allen v. Milligan (2023) and Louisiana v. Callais (2025).

Acknowledging race to undo racism now counts as racism. In conservatives' world, taking race into account to make things fair is somehow worse than centuries of using race to keep things unequal.
Supreme Court Conservatives Are Tired of Hearing About Racism. Guess What? Me Too.
Will the Supreme Court and Chief Justice John Roberts finally completely gut the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais?

Why is the Court revisiting an issue it decided 2 years ago regarding Alabama's racist maps in Allen v. Milligan?

The 6 jamokes on the Court have decided the real question isn’t whether Black voters are being disenfranchised; it’s whether fixing that disenfranchisement might hurt white feelings.

I think this is a version of the left critique of the recent mass mobilizations that makes sense. No Kings mobilizations are not a diversion of energy that would be used more effectively otherwise they are fertile ground for the organizing folks say they want to do.
“No Kings” Protests Are Just Not Enough
These are worthwhile events, and leftists shouldn’t shun them. But stopping Trump requires building power. If protests aren’t coupled with organizing, the right will win.
