🧵This is an important story.

Chicago is at the forefront of the resistance to our nation’s fall into authoritarianism.

Every city should be joining in and showing consistent support for them.

We’re in one of the most pivotal moments in the nation’s history.

For the past five weeks, neighborhoods in Chicago have mobilized in experimental and collective ways.

In their free time, or, in some cases, by actively taking time off work, everyday Chicagoans are building rapid-response teams to keep eyes on the streets & follow the movements of federal agents.

Some pass out whistles in bars and laundromats.

Activists have begun locating agents’ suburban hotels and hosting noisy protests outside.

Some take shifts patrolling their neighborhoods on foot, in cars, and on bikes to alert neighbors to the presence of federal agents.

Just look at the marks on that person's body in the headline image.

They are being shot because they are standing up for people who are being persecuted and attacked.

America now has to defend itself from its own government.

Nothing more patriotic than standing up to arbitrary and abusive authority

These resistance fighters are true heroes and will be remembered as the most courageous among us.

Trump food lines are back.

Farmers are going bankrupt again.

Record high government spending

Unemployment skyrocketing

Supply lines clogged up by tariffs

Trump brought back his Covid pandemic WITHOUT a pandemic. 😡

Y’all, Spotify’s stock price sunk by 5% in 1 day. YOU did this by spreading the word to boycott them for running ICE ads.

These billionaires only speak one language—money—so let’s keep up the pressure. Tell everyone you know to cancel their Spotify subscriptions. Send them to BoycottSpotify.com.

Imagine having the wealth of a billionaire but being unable to enjoy life or give back to lift others up.

They are compelled to control the narrative, interfere in elections, shape laws and start wars.

Were they sick before they got rich or did the wealth make them go mad? 🤔

The government is shut down and House Republicans are onto their SIXTH consecutive week of PTO rather than keeping their constituents’ heath care costs from doubling and reopening the government.

There will be a vote to release the Epstein files when the House returns. Is that what all of this is really about? Are the Epstein files so bad for Republicans that they’d rather keep the government shuttered than answer for the fallout?

Major disasters caused $101 billion in damages in the first half of 2025 — the costliest six month period on record.

How do we know? A nonprofit had to take over NOAA’s work tracking disasters, which Trump gutted.

What else doesn’t he want us to know?

politicians & pundits still don't understand that a critical mass of people are calling out for Woke 2.0 to cleanse the land with unyielding fury
The way we avoid having to do all of this again in 8 or 12 or 16 or 24 years is by imprinting a generational memory of, "oh, the last time they did that, all of the top guys - I mean, the ones who survived - went to prison for the rest of their lives, and had their property seized."

your average poster understands the only way to stop stephen miller from trying to turn the US into a modern nazi state is to put him in prison forever

but the dems are still terrified of the thought of making anyone in politics face real consequences (because they think it might boomerang on them)

Apparently, a lot has happened, but not much has changed.

This is the worst, most heartbreaking, thing I have seen from the trump Regime. Monstrous.

This feels like the week America died.
Please watch. Please share.

Trump's masked thugs attacked a blind protestor in South Portland last weekend and dragged him away like an animal.

The man is 4'6" and legally blind.

A US citizen.

"They picked the weakest person they could find," he told The Oregonian/OregonLive.
