Something I have noticed and enjoyed about Diane Keaton and Patricia Routledge, who both recently passed: neither married, and didn’t seem to think less of herself for it. Keaton adopted kids, Routledge did not—but in reflections on her life, neither woman is judged as a wife or mother—very rare!
