I’m not “purity testing” you. I’m figuring out if you’re gonna let me hide in your house, or if you’re gonna be a Good American.

You need to win, but I need to live.
Fuck this. If “Nazi tattoo” doesn’t cross the line, you have no line.
Yo turns out I’m just not cool with electing a guy who’s aligned with the ideology of killing people like me for sport
mfs be like "you can't be purity testing we need a big tent" and the "purity test" is minorities objecting people who are trying to toss them out of the tent
This one too. He dug his heels in and is claiming to be doing “trench activism.” Insane that a journalist is knowingly & willingly eroding trust in journalism. But here we are.
Going all chips-in on a future where nothing is real & the planet is a steaming crater all because you were promised you’ll never have to pay for workers ever again seems… not good.

The only good thing about gen AI is now it’s easy to figure out who’s a sociopath and who’s not.

Also - WHO IS THIS FOR? WHY DOES THIS EXIST?
Oof. That’s awful. AI summaries need to die off 😣
Me when everyone’s just typing dudes’ last names in all caps, and I notice that sports are trending on Bluesky
My 2 main issues with AI being crammed into everything is that when I’m searching for Very Delta reels, 1) I do not need to know what Very Delta is, and 2) I do NOT need to “ask a follow up” because I found the Very Delta reels

Just to make everyone feel worse about everything there's a world where Amazon sells Twitch to the Saudis which is a rumor thats already gone around and Microsoft eventually dumps gaming in favor of chasing AI, also leading to being sold to the kingdom. So think of it like these are the good times
new episode of kill the computer, we talked to @slasher.bsky.social about the saudi kingdoms takeover of gaming, sports, and entertainment industries and why they’re doing this

Sorry, Gale. We need to save the world. Now if you’ll excuse me, Halsin and I are going over here.

Making fake images of things happening in the world right now for real is just so insane. Trading actual humanity and resistance for a smooth disneyfied consumer friendly fascimile. Just reducing reality into slop as it is happening
With respect, we need to be able to point to an objective reality so the world can see what’s happening. The feeling this image evokes might be great, but something so obviously fake makes us look like idiots, and can be used by the right to diminish the fact that millions of real people protested.
Thank you for inspiring others with your bravery and joy!
Photo credit goes to @jentaub.bsky.social I believe. Great photos!
Thanks for standing up for our rights!

Totally valid if you don’t mind the AI images. I do think it’s going to be a big problem though as people have a harder & harder time distinguishing propaganda from reality. Most AI generators have a watermark, but it’s easy to remove.
People know that paintings are art. The problem with AI images is that people often don’t know if they’re real or not. That is a problem when we’re resisting fascism, which relies on the distortion of truth.

I like the sentiment of the picture, but it devalues the millions of people who protested.
Here are some actual photos of actual protesters taken by actual people in Detroit yesterday.
Please please please stop posting AI generated slop. It distorts the truth, pollutes the planet, and pollutes our minds.
