I've noticed there's often a reflexive reaction where, when this topic makes headlines, many treat it as if the underlying cause is zoomers being overly puritan.

But isn't it much more likely a reaction to MeToo & learning how SO many nude or risque scenes, photo shoots, etc. are coerced or worse?

honestly i think we all just saw how older folks would shame others for still watching "cartoons" among other things and just collectively went "why the hell are we even shaming people for enjoying stuff" among other factors like internet animation rather than sex repulsion

took a look through the article itself and now i'm starting to see that it really isn't about sex revulsion and moreso about... depicting genuine relationships that are so much more than just sex alongside a dislike to toxic relationships and love triangles
