I'm balancing between Ben Solo and Predator Badlands, I've got my decade long fixation and my new fixations I'm am so wealthy right now.
This is literally how TV has worked for ages too! The upfront costs for the sets are the biggest, but if you stick with the same sets and modify, the later seasons are not that costly.

A TV show doesn't need to be a movie!

ALSO GRAHAM PLATNER IS 41 YEARS OLD.

He made those posts just a few years ago and the white folks are waving it off like he was an 18 year old enlisted Marine with snot running down his nose.

You can shoot guns at Brown people but cant think for yourself til you 41?! SHUT YOUR ASSES UP.

There’s no acceptable story about Ben Solo that does not involve Rey of Jakku and there’s no acceptable story about Rey of Jakku that doesn’t involve Ben Solo, send skeet

I knew it wouldn't last long before people start dumb discourse over the Ben Solo news. No a movie focused on him wouldn't reduce Rey, especially as they seem to have been planning a movie with her along side it.

We crawl back from hibernation, defrozen ourselves, snowballed downhill... Reylos have always been like this, we all activate ourselves when some antis bullied us, or some good news, or angry news. We were never really gone. 'No one's ever really gone' does describe reylo best. #TheHuntForBenSolo

This moment still goes insanely hard.
It's what I said months ago: Mandalorian and Grogu trailer has zero stakes or emotional pulls.
A Ben Solo film would have that instantly.
I have watched the Predator Badlands trailers many times more than the Mandalorian and Grogu teaser.

I certainly hope the Mando movie is good because the teaser only promises the equivalent of "Next time, on The Mandalorian" TV episode.

I love the Mandalorian, but the film doesn't film-worthy

The "merchandise sales" things cracks me up. Other than The Mandalorian, the only merch for other series has been a few shirts and figurines. I never even saw a single Skeleton Crew figure at Walmart or Fred Meyer.

And that show was a family oriented. At some point Disney tapped out on even trying

in all the excitement I overlooked this part, PUTTING ASIDE how popular reylo and Ben Solo are, they really said no to Soderbergh’s low budget and economical directing style??? No one has ever been as Bad at Business as Bob Iger 💀💀💀
I've seen few people talk about Mando and Grogu. Even on Star Wars Leaks Reddit, people are just, "oh looks interesting I guess". There is no feverish excited buzz.

Only buzz about Starfighter is Mia Goth and Matt Smith being in this.

The two biggest missed opportunities of the sequels are both ideas that could still work post-TROS with a bit of creativity:

1. Active and extended Ben Solo redemption.

2. A stormtrooper rebellion led and/or inspired by Finn.

Disney execs need to get off YouTube and listen to actual creatives.
"Women don't buy toys"
Y'all gave up on interesting Star Wars toys ages ago, how many Stormtroopers do we need?

Still waiting on a Nala Se.

But I digress. Stop being afraid of Ben Solo, of Reylo, of the Acolyte. These fans are devoted, Dudebros care only about clicks.
At some point, show runners and film creators can't ignore female fans, queer fans.
Fandom is novels, purses, fun plushies, Hallmark ornaments.
Then movies were made. Spock was killed -- the most popular character!
Then he returns and movies continue.
Star Trek merchandise is no longer just toys. It's fan shirts, collectible ornaments and plates (something women were collecting).
As the daughter of a Trekkie I will always know how Star Trek was "for the boys" but then those damnable muddled aged women fell in love with Spock and slash and made fanzines.
