Independent of this statement, a good way of describing a huge chunk of the internet is “rapists running content and bot farms to make their pet issues seem more important”, that’s basically half the traffic on X at this point.

when i was a kid we had two huge horse chestnut trees in our front yard and stomping on the pods to send the shiny little dudes inside flying is such a strongly engrained physical memory for me. this headline makes perfect sense, finding two inside is like a rare pull

theres a type of person who's more in love with the idea of being a writer than actually communicating anything. they follow inspiration accounts and pay for online courses and obsess over getting agents and amazon rankings and i always wonder if they know there are much easier ways to make money
