As far as I can tell the difference is we both have audiences, if by that you mean people who look at the thing. But I (a) likely have an older audience, and (b) have an audience that cares more about me in particular than e.g. a comic making a social point or talking about animals or whatever.

One of the weird things about being an Old Webcartoonist is I often feel like I got unfairly grandfathered into a better system we used to have? Like I know lots of younger artists who get way more clicks or views or whatever who make very little money.

The fact that the rates are so low and have no soft pity really discourages pulling without 200 pulls saved

Had a similar experience with KitaBlack, I went *over 200 pulls* without an SSR drop at one point.
