Inexplicably, my son’s very standard state school - in a mixed area, not a particularly affluent one - arranged a £4K trip to Kenya last year. I keep meaning to do a story on the astonishing escalation of the school trip.

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

We want to make you aware of recent reports of a suspicious occurrence on and around campus. Multiple community members have reported contact from an individual, described as male and wearing Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses, who has approached women with unwanted comments and inappropriate dating questions. Reports indicate that this individual may be attempting to post these interactions online under the account name "pickuplines.pov" on TikTok, Instagram, and possibly other social media platforms.

While no threats or acts of violence have been reported, we want our community to stay informed and take steps to support one another.
If you encounter this individual or any suspicious activity:

Take immediate action to report the incident at the time it occurs by calling Public Safety Dispatch.

The Government has tabled 67 last-minute amendments to the Planning & Infrastructure Bill.‼️

Rushed through with little scrutiny, it’s a shambolic way to reform the planning system.

It creates confusion, sidelines science and leaves nature dangerously exposed.

I'm not sure I don't care at all for the people being discussed because I'd like to think I care about everyone but this is a powerful argument for why that consideration should be tempered by a bit of 'well this is what you voted for so suck it up'.

It's a shame you're affected too.

My daughters flat had condensation issues - we've fitted window vents and silent low volume fans that are on 24/7 extracting from kitchen and bathroom - problem went away - heating costs not noticeably increased.

This isn’t a legitimate political polemic, this is hate speech and hate crime.
