What a relief! So happy tonight 💙
New Jersey, it is the honor of my life to earn your trust to become this great state’s 57th Governor.

I promise to listen, lead with courage, and never forget who I serve.

The only significant advantage I can see in having a massive new White House ballroom would be to give Uzo Aduba more opportunities for solving crimes while also birdwatching.

You can skip the line this election season by voting early in-person! Early in-person is easy, simple, and quick. You can begin casting your ballot this Saturday, October 25 through Sunday, November 2.

I am feeling cranky today, about men online. Men who assume I need help with things that I never asked for help with. Especially men who clearly know less about the topic than I do. UGH. I don't know if it's sexism, ageism, or both, but it's making me cranky.
Besides missing the point of it being fun for me, he misunderstood what I was even trying to do. Feeding each page of my 18yo WP website into an LLM to be "simplified" is dumb. I am working at the theme level, making changes that can apply to the whole site.
I posted on a forum today, about a project I was having fun working on, and someone responded with a detailed explanation of how I can use an LLM to do the work for me. Um, no. Using my brain is the point. Having a final result that reflects my personality is the point. Also, did I ask for help? No.
Chilly Monday workday with the window open. Hot water bottle and a crocheted blanket on my lap. Maple syrup candle with the crackling wooden wick burning. The Sundays "Blind" on the turntable. A little later I'll add a cup of hot coffee and a maple pecan cookie 🧡🤎💛 #simplepleasures

Here are 3️⃣ things Trump is spending taxpayer dollars on INSTEAD of solving the healthcare crisis.
Ha! I missed that, lol. Good night to you!
I'm shy. I went to my first one with someone who had already done it once, and that helped. You don't need to do anything if you don't want to. You can just stand quietly and wave a little flag at passing cars, if that's all you feel comfortable with. That's what I do. It's being there that counts.

What are your plans for tomorrow?

We hope to see you at a #NoKings rally!
Check nokings.org to find one convenient to you!

Don't miss your chance to be part this nationwide demonstration of love for America - government of, by and for the people - with liberty and justice for all!
I have a lot of these in my NJ yard, too. I love how they have a beautiful quirky song one minute, and the next minute sound like complaining kittens, LOL

I wrote about making coffee this week.

“Throw your coffee scale away. Coffee is made by feel. Coffee is made with your heart. Coffee is made with your chest, not with a scale. Fill the grinder to the top. Press down on it and grind those beans like you’re grinding a fascist’s bones.”

TOMORROW is #NO_KINGS_DAY!!! Give me your Tired, your Poor, your Huddled Masses of Frogs, Unicorns, Pandas, T-Rexes, Mushrooms, Sharks, SpongeBobs & everyday Folks yearning to peacefully protest a clownishly incompetent buffoon of a Prez who, if there were any justice, would be in jail. 🤡

Sunday morning knitting 🧶
I've gotten as far as I can with an #antlersweater (#tincanknits) until yarn reinforcements arrive. Just hope the new ball of yarn arrives before the new nephew does!
That's such an interesting perspective. Really made me stop and look at it for a while. Nicely done.

not an exaggeration to say I am WEEPING with laughter at this reply from someone who hadn't seen that Robert Redford died today
It's always fun when a town I know pops up. This one is right next to the town where I grew up. I'd say those photos don't do it justice, but they kind of do 😁 (Sorry, Wallington)
Just got mine. Had the second dose last week. I was expecting side effects, but I didn't have any. Maybe you will be so lucky, too 🙂

Fair warning to autumn: I am going to wring every last drop of serotonin out of your withered little husk of a carcass this year
