Dear trans people who found out about Judaism’s positing of eight genders,
If you think Judaism sounds like a thing that might work for you, that’s cool, you are welcome to inquire, but Jews have a VERY DIFFERENT perspective on applicants than Christianity.

people like this are braver than the troops.
Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
There are lots of days I’m very happy and joyful to be out and know that I am out.
And then there are days when I am pissed off at the universe for abusing me and threatening me for entertaining the notion of escaping.

What did you do for a Klondike bar?
WHAT DID YOU DO?!
Well, they keep taking shit and no one says anything too loud because they come down hard, but this time we ran the ball right down the middle for once and they were not prepared.
It’s called informed consent because you have to know more about what the stuff you want is going to do to you than the doctor.
If there’s one thing I absolutely love about today, it’s this. The rational, decent people have reclaimed the image of the frog for good. There’s so many people hopping around in this fun, friendly, peaceful outfit.

The chans have to be absolutely livid. We took their shit and it’s ours now.

Rabbi: There is one consistent theme that runs through the Talmud.

Me: Demons also study Jewish law.

Rabbi: Well, yes, but that’s not what I’m referring to.

Me: Palm trees are scary.

Rabbi: Please let me finish.

In case anyone needed a list of accounts to block.
You would be surprised how often they go around harassing ethnoreligious groups. And blaming us for shit Christians do. It is incredibly tedious.
There are atheist Jews and Buddhists and Hindus who practice. Honestly, if you’re upset about what ignorant Christians do (like me), go and tell off Christians. Leave marginalized communities alone. We aren’t trying to convert you.
Well, that’s sociologically and anthropologically and culturally illiterate, there are so many differences between groups, but you sure do feel confident saying they all have the same problems.

it is my pleasure to report they are indeed mad as fuck on the other site over being blocked and ignored. keep up the excellent work everyone
You’re just wasting people’s time and being disrespectful to those of us who have done the work. People don’t owe you bespoke answers tailored to your incompetence without compensation, and your attitude is frankly unworthy. You lack manners and consideration.
If you say you’re objective but don’t show up to a discussion with any academic knowledge of formal, pragmatic tools to discuss religious phenomena such as sociology, anthropology, oral history, or literary critique, and demand “facts” without having knowledge of formal structure,
You even said that if Christians told you one thing, you were likely to believe the opposite. That is irrational, subjective thinking, not actually taking consideration of facts or formal study to approach them. Your posturing and blindly asserting your objectivity is just obnoxious.

Like, if I said that Judaism centers itself on orthopraxy, consistent behavior in a group, rather than orthodoxy, consistent belief, as Christianity does, then why would you harp on about belief? Because that is your obsession and key argument, that religious people have reckless beliefs.
You’re a belligerent asshole who harasses people using systems you know nothing about, and declare yourself “objective”. Why do you think you get to be objective and no one else does, especially when you don’t know sociology or anthropology or hardly any social science discussing religious practice?
It’s full of jokes, doubts, skepticism, and arguments over which principles take place over others. There are even party’s debating how many genders humans can be. It addresses myth and where we get it from. It’s of crucial sociological importance.
And you haven’t read any of it or heard of it.
Jews doing religious study mostly study Oral Torah, a massive body of work that criticizes and debates the text of Torah, with a focus on pragmatic use in daily life. It is heavily cited in Jesus’s ministry, but with the names stripped off.

It’s amusing that you were told by them that the point of religion is to say what’s true, and you just assume that it holds true for Judaism, even if you know your education was flawed.
You wouldn’t be alone in getting a malicious miseducation on the topic. It’s almost a prerequisite for Christians.
And I assure you no one is going to punish you for not being sufficiently Jewish or praising Hanuman enough. We expect other people to do their own thing, whatever it is, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone else, we don’t care.
Christianity and Islam are idiosyncratic in their need to be truth.
