Capitalism is also psychological warfare, because while I despise it, I have no choice but to participate in it

Poverty/being poor is such a life-robber and depression accelerant.
Sending peace to all tryna survive amongst it.

as a tall and formerly skinny woman, there’s definitely a difference between how we’re treated when we’re skinny, muscular, bigger. also how we dress. how we carry ourselves (because how dare a fat woman be confident, have needs, or demand respect). it’s gross! let people live!!!

Also, society in general loves to masculinize tall women, esp tall Black women, unless we’re runway-thin. Like femininity only counts in fun-size. It’s happened to Serena, Megan before she slimmed down, Queen Latifah, & so many others. Tall & thick doesn’t mean less woman, but are often treated so.

Losing hope that I'll be able to keep my home. Not sure I can raise the full $875 this month for rent. I'm scared of being on the streets again. Last time, I had to rely on an abusive man to protect me. Please help me not go back there. tamilove21 on Cash App, Venmo, and Paypal.

We mourn the passing of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a fearless Black trans elder who fought for liberation, dignity, and justice. From Stonewall to decades of advocacy, she taught us to resist, to love fiercely, and to care radically. Her spirit lives on in every fight for collective freedom.
We mourn the passing of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a fearless Black transgender elder whose life embodied the struggle for liberation, dignity, and justice. From the Stonewall uprising to her decades of advocacy for incarcerated trans women and communities of color, Miss Major taught generations to resist oppression and love each other fiercely in the face of state violence. Her legacy is one of radical care and defiant joy, a reminder that true freedom means leaving no one behind. May her spirit continue to guide us as we fight for the world she envisioned.

Rest in power, Miss Major. Your legacy and work will live on.

I want you to train & teach & love on & create families within my community & gender non-conforming people so that we can understand that we have a culture, we have a reason to be here. We have a purpose. We’re entitled to be loved & seek happiness, & share that with people that we care about.” —Miss Major Griffin-Gracy“]

Rest in Power, Miss Major.💔

On solidarity: “We can’t go it alone… I mean, you can try, and get knocked down and get up and try again, and get knocked down and get up and try again. But that’s how it’ll be, until somebody helps you up and says, let me stand with you.”
