I personally feel like the elimination of the penny is related. They want to move everything to digital currency. Cash is no longer King.
I just got an email saying the federal government has phased out paper checks. This is a problem. It is a barrier to access for many people that don’t prefer automated banking. Autonomy & choice are being erased at an alarming rate.
