A friend chose to give their child a non-binary gender identity since birth so that they can choose their gender when they're of age. A family member of mine was like, "Okay, but which genitals do they have?"

At least I have mutual aid for groceries. But I'm still too suicidal to be trusted outside. So I'll order groceries later today when I feel less in danger. Plus it's just overwhelming right now.

The shame is overwhelming, but I have to say it. I survived on the streets only by staying with a man who was my abuser and rapist. My current home is my shield. Anything helps to keep that shield up.

The social rights advocate that got his account taken down on here. I mean that's what I got from his account, though I'm pretty sure he did a lot more than that on here. One example, he did a Fund Day Friday fundraiser for the people who need mutual aid on here.

Like, this one young woman with trigeminal neuralgia. She had to resort to Botox for pain treatment. Her mental health seemed to be in the toilet. I feel concerned for her, but can't for the life of me recall her handle or display name.

Distracting myself...so the community on Bluesky has been great. Is Mastodon a good place for community? My communities are like the secular community, disabled people, mentally ill people, recovering addicts, Black people...and ofc the mutual aid that keeps me alive, quite literally.
