Last time was in July, and we were told those who ordered in September and October of last year would see fulfilment in early October. I ordered mine in September. Now mind you, fulfilment was originally set for last February. Now, ten days after the October 4th fulfilment date my receipt said last-

Ok. I've reflected and it's the lack of communication this whole time that's really the issue.

Every time the date they were to send the zerowriters out came around, a week or so AFTER THAT, we'd get an update pushing it out a couple months.

Update on the zerowriter ink: they are finally shipping the fucking things.

HOWEVER they are demanding we pay the tariffs on it.

I should not have to fucking do that for something I bought and paid for before this admin took office.

If I don't, I get my money back but no thing.

The audible plus catalogue reminding me why I don't typically borrow books. I have now spent three credits just because i didn't feel like finishing the books before they'd leave the catalog.

This happens with libraries too. "But i liked that book. I want it forever. I must track down my own copy."

Oh, they weren't SUPPOSED to do that. They weren't ALLOWED to do that. Therefore nothing was ever transcribed wrong or simplified to make their day easier, ever.

I have a -ue last name. Great grandpa decided on that while still in germany. Another relative went with just -e cuz it's closer to the desired pronunciation. It's a very uncommon name tho and I'm absolutely related to anyone with either.

Right and like I don't think most people are even claiming that it was malicious, just that paperwork back then was fucky and had many chances to go sideways.

And if you come from somewhere with a different alphabet so you are GOING to have to change the spelling, do you really care enough?
