It’s a wild time to be a health policy nerd who also has a master’s in international security policy.

Welp. This off-season will be interesting.

I love the Eagles. 🦅🦅

Lacy Dagen!

Ugh, that sucks. 😡 I used to work HPC policy but admittedly didn’t do much on peds or private insurance.

It won’t cover ped concurrent care? Is that common for private insurers?

ALA provides more than $300,000 annually for study in a master's degree in library and information science. ALA scholarships cover an array of focuses and groups, from children’s and youth librarianship to government documents and support staff.

Husband: “They just need to fire their offensive coordinator! …not to sound like an Eagles fan.”

He’s learned well.

I don’t get snow days anymore. Boooo.
For older adults with metastatic cancer, each day spent on health care can take away from days that are often devastatingly limited. Our latest study led by Arjun Gupta and Shelley Jazowski with @dusetzinas.bsky.social and Avi Gupta is out now in @jamanetworkopen.com

Health Care Contact Days in Older Adults With Metastatic Cancer
This cohort study examines patterns and changes in health care contact days over time among traditional Medicare beneficiaries diagnosed with metastatic breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers.

Right?! It takes itself less seriously than I expected. It could be a fun recurring event a few times a season.

Watching Peacock’s Reality Hot Seat coverage of SNF and it’s kind of a fever dream? But for a game I don’t really care about, it’s kind of fun? And I know enough about housewives that it’s amusing watching Boston Rob learning about HW lore in real time.
NEW: In a five-part series, “Sick in a Hospital Town,” ProPublica’s @gingerthompson.bsky.social pursues the question:

Why are people in Albany, Georgia, so sick when its most powerful institution is a hospital?

Start with Part 1 here:

It’s never been more over. I like my Eagles folks and take no pleasure in reporting this.
They should do MyChart Wrapped

I feel seen.
Sitting next to my Eagles obsessed mother in law and she’s doing and saying stuff that makes this look like child’s play. Like I’m afraid to even post it for fear of someone alerting the authorities.
I love Philadelphia

Surely the Eagles organization has to do *something* in the next week to course correct. Right…?

Have we tried firing the OC/DC then and plugging back in the team?

Congratulations!!

How do cats always know the worst times to get sick, and then get sick at those exact moments?
So much I could say, but I’ll just say she convinced her caucus to vote for something they hated and knew they’d lose their jobs over, on the promise that it’d be amended in some unknown way later through reconciliation. Nearly 40 million people have health insurance because of her. 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

this is the piece I have wanted to read for ages about the 'inflammation' boogeyman www.theatlantic.com/health/2025/...

Popular ideas about inflammation have lost touch with medical reality.

One of the things I enjoy the most about working in rural health is the wide range of attire worn by rural health conference attendees. It’s hard to go too formal or too casual.

NBC and the SEC Network can learn something from the NFL by changing the camera angle when there’s an injury during gymnastics meets!

Look at those precious little nuggets!

Happy I actually get to watch my birds today. Though, with how the season has gone, I’m not sure this is actually a good thing.
