I’d prefer to not touch the button but the people I’m often with tend to just look at me and not touch any buttons so I am forced to touch the button.

My favourite is when people enter the elevator at the same time as me and hit the same button I need to hit. Then we’re twinning.

A SPOTIFY PLAYLIST from JF. Over the years a few songs have turned my head. The sound, the sonics, the arrangement, the impact of the ideas involved--these tracks HIT ME harder than songs. Kinda in a timeline, hardly complete-here's some singular songs... open.spotify.com/playlist/75D...

This is how I imagine JK Rowling when she posts.
JK Rowling says "ha ha.. h-heh. I won! I won!" She sits alone in the dark, bathed in the late of her computer screen. We pull back to see her in a large dark empty room. She continues "I won." Seeing the full scope of her cavernous workplace, she appears small and alone. She says, once again, "I won..."

I want you to really imagine, deeply and personally, what it would feel like if this happened to your child. How would you feel?

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

On Oct. 11, 1975, Saturday Night Live debuted.
One of the most influential programs in television history, the success of that first season owes a lot to the many Canadians who were involved in the show.
These are some of those individuals!

The man on the left wears a suit and tie, leaning forward, while the man on the right, in a floral shirt and blazer, lounges casually. Behind them, several individuals, including a woman with long hair and others in casual attire, are seated or standing, with framed pictures and a lamp visible on the walls.

I want to have a moment like what we see on television when I’m in a meeting with a bunch of people and someone else walks in and I say, “Give us the room.” And then everyone just gets up, and lowers their head as they walk out of the room and leave.
