Background for non-Finns: Erkko was the media mogul family who owned the largest daily newspaper, they published (and still do) also the Disney comics in Finland. Many of them were on par with Kane / Hearst, wealthy kingmakers and movers, just on the scale of one small country.

Yeah in Finland it’s Mickey Who? The mouse was always distant second to the duck. I vaguely remember reading something about DD being used as secondary prong in the Erkko media imperium to tout the wonders of the US way. No refs sorry, a vague memory.

Ja toivoisin että eri näkökulmat yleistyisivät. En sano että tää mun katsaus on "totuus" sen enempää kuin nämä tyypilliset julkisuudessa kiertävät tilastot ovat "totuus", mutta ne ovat erilainen näkökulma jotka täydentävät toisiaan. Nyt tuntuu että Suomeen mahtuu vain yksi näkökulma samaan aikaan.

Minkälainen maa on Suomi, kun tarkastelemme sitä vähemmän julkisuutta saaneiden tilastojen valossa? Katsotaan, ja verrataan Suomea muihin pohjoismaihin!
