"Throughout the Bush Administration, a recurring pattern emerged: the federal government wrote blank checks for the war effort in the Middle East while domestic infrastructure projects were relegated to checking the couch cushions for loose change."

It’s 1 of mine.
"At this moment in time, of course, the release of the TRUMPSTEIN Files is really the public's main priority."
Trump who?
As with the feces video after the #NoKings march, his frustration is never more apparent than when he loses control of the cycle.

Trump has always been ‘pay to play’. And he avoids using his own assets. So, now he has ours: yours and mine.

No we haven’t. China hasn’t either.
We haven’t forgotten, no matter how many distractions you throw our way.
Yes we do. And the lower the education level, the higher the Republican vote share.
The question of "why do people vote against their self-interest" is pretty self-explanatory when you look up the literacy rate in local schools.

We have high schools with a literacy rate of 32%.

Thirty-two percent...

Fetterman also continues to support war criminal Netanyahu.
He lost his PA constituency when he was exposed stabbing Gov Shapiro in the back.
Fetterman is searching for a port in the storm. He will not be reelected.

Free Speech is American’s inalienable right!
The only events he can host are goat rodeos for old white men.
Jeffries: "He's found time to demolish the East Wing in the most horrific way possible bc he wants to erect a ballroom so he can be celebrated like a king. He's found time for all of these different things, but somehow can't be bothered to find a dime to extend the ACA tax credits."
Is this the Stephen Miller who has fled his VA neighborhood because of chalk messages on the sidewalk? Next we’ll be sending you women in polka dots.
Stephen Miller on Fox threatens to arrest JB Pritzker for "seditious conspiracy" and says, "to all ICE officers: you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. And anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop or obstruct you is committing a felony."

This is a take-one-for-the-team moment.

Our country is dying, and Jack Smith knows it.

He’s asking to testify publicly, so you know he’s got receipts.

Doing this paints an even larger target on his back, and he's saying, "Fuck it."

Go Jack!
I agree. This Congress should be retired, since they do nothing.
The lack of concern and even awareness is stunning. The Supreme Court continues stripping rights, Congress has effectively been eliminated, and a third of the White House has been destroyed so a new bunker can be built to ensure Republicans (if not Trump himself) rule forever.
Plus he’s cut down the trees here and in front of The Kennedy Center.
He can build any goat rodeo hutch he chooses. It will not stand for long.
And in that moment, standing in my kitchen, phone in hand, staring at the rubble, three words filled my body like fire.

I hate him.

Exactly. It is murder and it is insane behavior.
The casual bragging about how many boats and how many people the Pentagon has killed is what gets me. Celebrating your own utter disregard for human life is sociopathic. We don’t have a Department of Defense anymore, we have a cosplay convention for Call of Duty.
Murder. The President of the United States is sponsoring extra judicial killings.
10th boat blown up in the Caribbean.

6 people dead this time.

Not a single arrest made.

Not an ounce recovered.

Not a shred of evidence provided.
No, it does not.
This is their playbook for the midterms. Intimidation and harassment - if we are lucky it will only be that. Because their full playbook is most likely much worse but this is the warmup act.
On the + side, I understand no one under the age of 50 gets their ‘news’ from old line media outlets.
This is how oligarchs wind up helping tyrants and get favors back for it.

Hope people are realizing that rigging the 2026 and 2028 elections have always been the plan.
Shoring up Republican supporting Hedge Fund investments in Argentina, actually.
And if it’s OK to leave children at risk for mass shootings, why would they feed them?
There’s $5 billion sitting in SNAP reserves right now. The money’s there.

The Administration just decided feeding families matters less than bailing out Argentina.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

If a temporary resident of the White House can totally demolish the East Wing to build a gaudy ballroom, without any authority, approval, or regulation, he can tear down the rest of the White House to build a Walmart. That this destruction is allowed underscores how off the rails our country is now.
