It's been a few days since the STAR TREK SECTION 31 premiere, so let me tell you about the coolest Easter egg I snuck into the movie. 👇

He did it again for the 5 year anniversary
🔎 The game is afoot! Don’t miss the season 2 premiere of WATSON tonight on CBS. Our team poured months of heart and brainpower into this series, folks.

Ep 201 - “A Son in the Oven” is directed by Larry Teng and written by Craig Sweeny

You.
Are.
Allowed.
To.
Insult.
The.
Police.

It’s a core First Amendment principle. This is utterly lawless behavior, for which there will be no (short-term) consequences.

That he does it so casually, as they are walking away, in front of cameras.

Rightly confident in his impunity.

I know these guys are all dumber than a sack of hammers, but it is fascinating to see the military decide “logistics are gay” in real time

Robert Redford playing a gentle incarnation of death, coming for a frightened old woman in The Twilight Zone episode "Nothing in the Dark" (1962). An extraordinary performance then, terribly bittersweet today

Reading much tonight on Charlie Kirk, who he was, what he said and believed -- from both admirers and those deeply opposed. It does not matter. None of it. What matters is that political violence made routine against any voice, left or right, marks us as a failing, dying republic.
This is horror.

Remembering MN house speaker Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark and their beloved dog Gilbert. Murdered in June at their home by a rightwing Trump-voting evangelist, who also shot another MN lawmaker and his wife at THEIR home, 9 and 8 times, respectively (miraculously, they survived).

Dearest Martha,

The National Guard stand solemn watch at the Krispy Kreme tonight. I cannot tell if they defend the people from the donuts, or the donuts from the people. Powdered sugar hangs in the air like cannon smoke. Jensen took a hot coffee to the face, he may never recover.

Yours in glaze,

ICYMI, my short film got a really nice review from Film Threat!

"...spectacular... Just the Janitor delivers everything you want in a short film: memorable characters, a sharp hook, and a finale that pays off... a gritty, satisfying story that sticks with you."

When all the lower income Americans are in prison because they can’t afford rent — we’ll look and wonder — how did that happen?
Right here, friends.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt talked about the Trump administration's plans to address homelessness in Washington, D.C., saying individuals could be "susceptible to fines or to jail time" if they refuse certain resources or services.

Ah, comics used to be so innocent.
Most of it was sleep deprivation!
My Fantastic Four: First Steps thoughts.
And damn, that @m_giacchino score was astounding.
If your creativity feels stagnant, stale inputs might be the issue.
Instead of scrolling for inspiration, try wandering.
Step away from your routine.
Watch foreign films, embrace silence, or listen to a stranger share a messy story.
True art comes from genuine experiences, not just strategy.

My writing journey started with scribbling stories in little notebooks, creating fake movie sequels that never existed. It took me a while to believe I could actually make writing my job.

Beshear on Trump's bill: "It's the single worst piece of legislation I've seen in my lifetime & it is an attack on rural America. In my state alone, 200k are gonna lose their coverage... 20k healthcare workers are gonna lose their jobs & we've got up to 35 rural hospitals that may close."
