Here's how ProPublica categorizes the 170 US citizens ICE has kidnapped. 50 Kavanaugh stops and 120 cases where ICE claimed they were assaulted, usually (IMO) after assaulting the person in question.

Remember that 2 of the electeds--Ras Baraka and Brad Lander--were arrested DURING their election.

We reviewed more than 170 cases overall, which we sorted into two categories.

The first is Americans who were held because agents questioned their citizenship. We found more than 50 such cases. The second category is Americans arrested by immigration agents after being accused of assaulting or impeding officers at protests or during immigration arrests of others. In that category, we tallied about 130 Americans, including more than a dozen elected officials. In many of these cases, the government never charged these individuals or the cases were dismissed.

Because Seattle's permitting department is funded by permit fees, we're set to increase those fees by 18% on top of inflation next year because of the fact that...permits are down. I'm sure that will help!

The 2026 Endorsed Budget includes a 6.5% annual inflationary fee adjustment to recover the costs of permitting and
inspections. Recognizing that additional permitting staff layoffs would affect permit issuance timelines, the 2026
Proposed Budget legislation includes an additional 18% increase in value-based building development plan review
and permit fees to compensate for an expected decline in major building permit applications. The proposed budget
legislation also includes changes to permit and inspection certificate fees for Rental Registration and Inspection
Ordinance (RRIO), electrical OTC permit fees, some tree review items and creates a subsidy for unreinforced
masonry projects to incentivize projects that improve public safety and resiliency of neighborhoods with historic
buildings.

Sydney Reid acquitted.

This was a case where someone filming was assaulted, and then arrested and charged with felony assault.

The grand jury no billed that, so they took her to trial on a misdemeanor charge. There were a bunch of discovery problems.

And now this.

Kudos to the FPDS!
