I just saw that John Grisham has a new novel out. He's interesting to me because he's constantly attacked for being a a popular hack, etc. Me, I'm for any writer who does well and isn't a dick. Grisham donates millions to charity and works with the Innocence Project. Not bad for a "hack."
The tell on bathrooms is they never complain about those 'this bathroom may be cleaned by a male cleaner' signs. It's much easier for a predator to pretend to be a cleaner than to transition

If you commit crimes against humanity, international airports and airspace can be tricky things to navigate. Just ask Rodrigo Duterte in his jail cell in The Hague.
The plot for Donald Trump and Putin to meet in Hungary to try to extort Zelenskyy has fallen through. The Russian government wasn’t able to secure safe passage for the Kremlin Gremlin through any European country. The meeting was officially cancelled, leaving Trump and Orban with egg on their face.
They should make him Governor of the Falklands. He has previous there.

I have been traveling and today I present to you...the thing I saw in the Frankfurt airport.

Is it efficient? Undeniably. Does it probably work better than the normal way? Oh certainly. Produce less of a mess? Probably?

But the existence of Condiment Udders gives me a deep, aghast disquiet.

Now, if people want a business and a list, they are looking in the wrong place. They should look into Jean-Luc Brunel the model agent who sent girls to Epstein. His files ought to be interesting.
Oh yes - business type business, but he'd long ago ascended to that alien sphere of rich and weird exploters
At least if you really have to have a Nazi tattoo, get a UV one so it doesn't show in public

Victorian mourners wore black veils not only to show grief but to hide from spirits thought to linger at funerals, searching for companions. #FairyTaleTuesday
The idea he actively 'supplied' girls/boys and had a 'list' presupposes normal people thinking, that he was a pimp with a business. He was weird rich, and that's not how they work, they're far worse. To them, normal people aren't human they're just food.
I don't think Epstein supplied anyone with anything as such, he didn't need to. He was an amoral predator who thought he was above the law, collected young girls, and casually shared them with guests like you might offer them a fine whisky, and with no more thought

Exactly. For an "actually unhinged"* take, here's one of mine:(*Maybe)

"If Peter Theil or his ilk flee to New Zealand, Argentina, China, or elsewhere to escape justice, we should label them terrorists and drone/air strike their compound and then send in a QRF to ensure they're actually gone gone."

Wow! My toast popped up this morning and the single bit flew higher and landed on the other two to form a rudimentary Toast Henge! I don't think I could repeat this even if I tried!! 😮

Meeting yesterday with Brianna Ghey's mother Esther - and pupils at Brianna's former school - was a powerful reminder of why controls on social media and smartphone use in schools is so important for children, teachers and parents. (1/2)

May we all dream of such riches.
Hoshoryu was gifted a giant soy sauce after becoming Grand Champion in London.
Also, I don't think they are eligible for NHS care straight away

Your regular reminder that scrapping ILR for people who have come here and played by the rules, which is what Lam proposes here, is a position supported by 3% of the public
Sunday Times interview Tory "rising star" Katie Lam

She is clear she wants lots of legal migrants to be told to "go home" so as "to leave a mostly but not entirely culturally coherent group of people"

(The interviewer suggests she is scrapping ILR or stripping people of it)

As C.L. Nolan said: “We must acknowledge there are places where the land growls.”
"[Kipling] told me that in his own part of Sussex he had noticed a sharp division between benevolent lands and tracts of the countryside which seemed maleficent. 'There is a wood, he told me, 'which is full of a sense of ferocity and evil, secretive and menacing.'"
