Yes it’s the Russia approx 2001-2 textbook
Right out of the textbooks. Whether it will succeed or not remains to be seen, but there is nothing complicated about what's happening here.

“If this could happen to the daughter of a president, that she could have her inheritance flat-out denied her, end up as a pauper dying far from home—we know that happened to other women in that era… That’s an important aspect of women’s history in America”

A great story of dedication & homecoming
A fascinating yarn about persistence by a modern woman and vindication, or at least understanding, of the 19th century woman whose life she unraveled. President James Monroe's daughter Eliza was a mystery and a tragedy, and to some extent a victim of her time. Gift link 🎁 wapo.st/47AzUfY
Buried in France in 1840, a U.S. president’s daughter comes back home
Barbara VornDick was researching the fifth U.S. president’s daughter. It turned into a years-long odyssey that cast her into the roles of sleuth, genealogist and more.

Who do we think benefits when literally everything is taken as an opportunity to knock Democrats
Seems like Democrats could find the same info and hire the people who put together videos like this. But they never seem to do so.
When the Nazi group chat ruins your talking points
Whoops. *fait accompli
A great film!
Come see Joan Micklin Silver's classic indie film #HesterStreet and hear about the new stage adaptation we are working on. It was a hit in its DC premiere, and the next step is to bring it back home to New York City.

It’s the umpteenth time I’ve seen a “fair accompli” press piece reprint of a (profit-less) start up press release.
It’s been a reliable GOTV for the GOP for a long time.

I guess the good news is, we’re done with the farce that telegram was ever a platform for secure comms, now we can admit the whole stunt with protests in Russia and PD getting to cosplay a free speech hero was a giant con by the FSB to convince people to use a comms app they have a back door in
Left: Pavel Durov, Russian founder of Telegram, suddenly discovering democracy on the exact day of Romanian elections.

Right: same guy, this time for Moldovan elections. Czech elections are on Friday, so Pavel drop a copypasta draft “coincidentally” a third time and call it a trilogy.

holy crap, solar panels are productive! even in Brooklyn

our electric bill for all 2024, for an entire house:

$499.29

($240 of this is the monthly connection charge, so: only $260 for actual electricity)

installed in 2018, the panels amortized last year, so now it's just crazy-cheap juice
