Over 71 million Americans are paid less than a living wage, and are forced into social safety nets like SNAP.

If you think too many people are receiving SNAP benefits, don’t shame them.

Shame their employers paying them poverty wages and forcing taxpayers to subsidize the rest.

Her adoptive dad had sexually assaulted her for years. But when Taylor Cadle told police, she was treated like a “monster.” She was charged with lying to the police and had to write an apology letter to her abuser.

Justice finally came when Taylor took her phone and hit record.
Police didn’t believe a 12-year-old who said she'd been raped. Then she hit record.

The full CBS interview with Trump about the pardon of Binance's Changpeng Zhao is shocking. "Why did you pardon him?" "I have no idea who he is. I was told that he was a victim ... They sent him to jail and they really set him up. That's my opinion. I was told about it."

"Why won't she leave?"

In 2023, 51,100 women and girls were killed by partners or family members, about one every 10 minutes. Nearly 1 in 3 women worldwide (≈736 million) have suffered physical or sexual violence in their lifetime by a partner or family member. The real numbers are likely higher.

If Trump topples Maduro, the elections in Venezuela will be rigged to install a pro-Trump puppet.

Contracts for rebuilding would be awarded to Trump-owned companies or to companies owned by Trump's friends.

Just like DOGE awarded contracts to Musk-owned businesses.

That's the goal.

Episodes of Atlantic Extreme Rapid Intensification - A 6X increase over the same since 1980 via @BhatiaKieran
Things are certainly changing as the waters warm. Greater ratio of strongest storms, that rapidly intensify, BUT importantly not necessarily a higher number of tropical systems overall.

Did you know? The US has one of the highest child poverty rates of OECD countries.

The average child poverty rate across OECD countries is 12.2%

In the US, it’s over 20%

It’s partly why many children rely on SNAP

High rates of child poverty warrant a national conversation.
