In this week's cartoon, Douglas Alexander, the Secretary of State against Scotland, is unable to use the word 'independence' and calls it the 'I' word instead. You will read, then snap up the last remaining Cool Scots calendars.

The ‘I’ Word
Douglas Alexander said a UK Labour government 'would take independence seriously if SNP win majority', which immediately made me think they would not.

Nobel laureate Sir Roger Penrose argues the Big Bang wasn’t the universe’s origin. In his Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC), reality unfolds in eternal loops called aeons. Each cycle ends in a frozen, empty expanse that—through conformal rescaling—ignites the next Big Bang.

Entirely unsurprising that the Holiday Villa 'Ndrangheta have found politcal allies at last in the shape of Reform UK.

Reform really do hypocrisy very well.

K Harris roundly defeated says bbc news at 1pm….

?!

Trump received 77.3 million votes (49.8%), while Harris got 75 million votes (48.3%). And he cheated!
..and the general morale in the party about this punctured tea bag of a government.

The U.S. has conducted 10 strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats, killing 43 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.
In the open, plain, unvarnished, bold, terrifying: the mens rea of a murderer.

I assume the Republican Party, law enforcement, Senate and Supreme Court all looking the other way.

When idiot Ron Schneider was born in 1963, the infant mortality rate was 29/1,000. It is now close to 5/1,000. So, no, children were NOT healthier when he was a kid. And he was, clearly, dropped on his head.

"Here we are talking about Reform" says Simon Jack. The BBC in general and #r4today in particular, never stop talking about Reform, unless they are Russia adjacent, such as the Caerphilly candidate, when the BBC looks the other way.

You can bet if the SNP do too well for WM's liking and end up with a decent majority next year the conversation on the BBC the day after will be the same - not on an SNP win. The BBC seriously don't like their favoured status quo being disturbed - it takes them into different, unfamiliar territory.
Why didnt stunning Caerphilly victory clinch prime 8.10am slot for Plaid_Cymru on BBCr4today prog this am? Instead it's all about Labour & Reform losing. Wakey wakey chaps. This is why Welsh folk feel so ignored. Special free podcast with Yescymru folk I met last weekend.
