I see Debora Cahn is keeping up the great West Wing tradition of writing things on paper and slapping it against windows. ❤️

(Admittedly, the spoiler removal slightly undersells this frame grab but yeah)

We are in the age of RISC-V chiplets, apparently.

Still testing the new DeepComputing DC-ROMA Mainboard II, with 8 SiFive P550 cores, Imagination GPU, and separate NPU chip, with 32 GB of shared RAM. The way it works is... interesting.

Stay tuned for a video. Might take a little longer than usual.

I follow a Norwegian lighthouse keeper named Paal Bjørndal whose whole bit is sharing profound things that are inaudible due to high winds. I love the internet.

Here are a few photos from Sunday's #Norwich #Amiga Group meet at Albion Games Cafe. Not the busiest meet we've ever had but still a fun evening. Next one is on Saturday 15th November. 1/2

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Uh-oh, I love em dashes and use them — deliberately — all the time.
