think of all the times you're trying to type "if" only for autocorrect to change it to "I'd" for some reason

chatgpt is basically that but scaled up

the fall of society is happening because people are trusting autocorrect to actually be correct

for further context, $0.50 per word is also what I made writing for my hometown newspaper in 1995, and it was considered an average rate then. This is how bad the industry has gotten.

For context, paying writers $0.50 per word is PHENOMENAL in the USA in 2025. Exploitative content mills are out here trying to manipulate people into producing copy for as little as a single cent or “based on page views.”

We do have a paywall, and that's because journalism has a cost. We pay all our contributors 0.50c a word & the founders haven't been compensated for the year, so we do ask for people to pay for our content. We still haven't made a profit this year, so we are unapologetic about that.

if you've ever gone stargazing somewhere without city lights, there's a point where the darkness starts feeling incredibly vast and you're laying there feeling like its enveloping you. that kind of void sky made me think of ghost.

soap gets a bright fiery sunset of course casue they're just as beautiful as the aftermath of a well-calculated explosion.

gaz has a purple sky, tinged with pink, casue they're super pretty and gaz is a gorgeous person that deserves nice things.

ima be honest i gave price a classic "blue sky and big fluffy white clouds" sky casue i wanted the visual contrast to the rest of them, but it fits! i imagine he's a sort of father figure to tf141— ive got only vague vibes sorry if this doesn't make sense, but i associate the comforting smell of home after coming home from a long trip with him and the sky seems fitting in that sense
