- Be inclusive: add descriptive alt text to images

This is a welcome feature. My HA instance is tucked away in a closet surrounded by several layers of wall and electrical wiring interference.

The ZWA-2 seems to connect well enough to my devices but overall z-wave latency has been MUCH worse (5-30s delay) than with my old Zooz controller.

I ordered 3 colors of glow/luminous @polymaker.bsky.social filament during the recent sale so I could print some fun give-aways for Halloween … only just now remembering that I only have 2 hardened 0.6 nozzles for my XL. 🤦‍♂️

The text/push notifications about inbound packages is a feature worth signing up for, regardless (UPS, FedEx, and USPS all offer this).

I wonder if this "billing inefficiency" is part of why UPS says they're now just destroying packages instead of calculating/charging tariffs.

That's pretty wild. I've dealt with FedEx and DHL in the before times but they always just send a bill after delivery (FedEx makes it pretty easy, esp. if you have a free account with them).

I wonder if UPS has a similar system set up for people who use their MyChoice accounts.

She's pretty good so far as a boss. I'm in an unusual situation where I'm still on the unlimited-PTO plan from the startup through the end of the year instead of the regular PTO plan.

But our CEO (fortune 100) saying "layoffs are a management failure; I don't do them" was more 🤯 to me.

Had a 7:30 meeting today. My boss thanked me for showing up (she knows I'm a night owl), especially on a holiday. Reminded me that I have unlimited PTO and should probably take the rest of the day off.

Hey @erininthemorning.com it appears that the non-www version if you site is misconfigured and doesn't forward to www. Worse, it presents an SSL cert that expired over 3 years ago so users jus get a big security warning: erininthemorning.com (in chrome, type "thisisunsafe" to see the Wix host page)

Given the number of times I've hidden it, closed it, marked it as "not interested," reported it as spam, submitted feedback about it being an annoyance, etc., their AI is really bad at learning that I don't want to see it popping up when I'm trying to click on something actually-useful.

I think that kind of thing usually goes to FFF Moving Services that get paid in pizza (as I learned it, that's "friends, family, and fools").

Unfortunately, 2-hour minimum makes sense given travel times, etc.

FWIW, we have an older 6in AC Infinity fan on our Glowforge that does a great job.

Plus a hacked-up Shelly+ESPHome to automate it (not that Glowforge has any sort of integration with Home Assistant but we can at least control it through voice commands). github.com/ex-nerd/esph...
