If a group of people with a shared struggle are asking for freedom and acceptance, it's not more "objective" for people from outside the group to report on them. That's not how social hierarchies work, people outside the group have self interest in maintaining status quo

I think it's an important factor to understand that they don't take right wing threats seriously and think that being right wing inherently means being law abiding.

Important addition here.

The person they're talking about and threatening is a man they all know personally on some level, Rand Paul (who voted no)

Trump literally told the FBI to investigate threats against Paul made by 'antifa' like last week.

But this is what their own staffers are saying lol.

Everyone that votes no is going to the gas chamber. And everyone that endorsed but then votes for us is going to the gas chamber.
