Finally, some good news in public broadcasting.

Pennsylvania's WPSU will stay on the air after a planned shutdown in 2026.

The Penn State-owned PBS affiliate + NPR station will become part of Philadelphia's WHYY after a "public outcry of support."

I remember a similar cursed elevator at Carnegie Mellon in Doherty (albeit painted powder blue). Whether or not the doors would open and close properly was wagerable.

Keep in mind when you apply--it's going to be several months before the surgery at minimum. There's a lot of waiting and a bunch of stuff you'll be given to learn about the process as you go through it. It also gives you access to the team to ask questions specifically about you too!
