the year is 2030. a doctor solemnly informs you that you have plastic in your testicles bc millions of people persuaded by celebrity marketing bought synthetic pubic hairs that were eventually consumed by fish that you ate
The Daily Beast writes: "Kim Kardashian's brand SKIMS has sold out its synthetic pubic hair thongs and is now accumulating a waitlist for the product." Their tweet is accompanied by a link to a post with the story.

But it still isn't terrorism. Even under UK law (which is Draconian by European standards), it still isn't terrorism. Otherwise they would have been charged with those offences.

They spray painted the aircraft. The offence is the act not how much the damage was.

I didn't say that at all, as you can clearly see. I was being facetious about the security.

There is plenty of legislation to cover criminal damage, even if it costs millions.

How much do you think the suffragettes cost govt & businesses? How much did the greenham protests cost?

when i called emergency services after being stabbed, the person on the phone said 'sir, do you think you might be panicking?' which implies there are people who get stabbed by strangers on the street and are like 'oh well, tuesdays am i right?'

Monbiot argues that the proscription of PA is the most illiberal thing any govt has done in the last 30 years. Even the 80s Tory anti protest laws (like the 1986 public order act S5 & the 1994 public order act w the notorious "repetitive beats") weren't such notable threats to freedom of expression.

AZ AG Mayes: If I have to, I’ll take Speaker Johnson to court. There's no legitimate reason for him to refuse to swear her in right now. And it's not fair for Mike Johnson to be holding the state of Arizona hostage because he doesn't want to release the Epstein files.

a tiny bit of good news is that we have secured funding to digitize john milton's copy of holinshed's CHRONICLES (1587).

the images will form part of MILTON'S LIBRARY, an open-access site featuring the 10 books positively identified as milton's w/ transcriptions/translations of his marginal notes.
A close-up image of a handwritten note in a sixteenth-century book. The note reads: 'Spenser repor / teth otherwise / [o]f this Knight / [D]ialogue of Ire- / [la]nd / [p]. 76.

Maybe it's just me but if someone changed their "Department of Defense" to the "Department of War" I don't really think they should ever be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize because they really aren't into the idea of peace.
