Critics point out that most boycotts don't impact companies’ bottom lines significantly enough to lead to policy changes, and they're right.

But if I found out my bank was renting out a room for someone to keep people in cages, I'd still tell everyone I know and would never do business there again.

I am loving the larger terriers I see on the #terriertuesdsy feed . I haven't noticed any Kerry blues or Russians - have I missed or forgotten them ? How many terrier breeds are lacking representation here? We need them ALL because they are all FABULOUS. :)

This is me too - also have cPTSD. I care passionately - but so much that I drown easily. Ducking out for rest keeps me sane ( ish) . People also bemoan the echo chambers but curating so it's truthful but not hurtful is literally vital for me. I don't want lies but won't survive hate.

So I had to find a sweet spot. I will stay engaged and feel like I'm handling it for a while, then I start noticing the small signs that anxiety is getting the best of me. I dip out, find something else to do, or nothing at all, and I recharge. It can be too, too, much. Please take care. 💙

Skill in design, manufacture and maintenance is compelling whatever the subject. I enjoy seeing people's passions and being able to see something through their eyes that otherwise is not for me. And er- if you fancy polishing my carriage let me know 😂

The husband put me in a bath an hour ago in the hope I can soak it out .. but he went out and forgot I was in here 😂😂( low mobility day) so I am waiting and soaking .

A thing nobody warned me of when I was young is that when you age and get splinters or satep on a tiny piece of broken glass you can no longer see to get them out. If you are lucky enough to have a partner the chances are they cannot either- yet it's too minor to call the surgery .

Oh definitely the Bedlington. The Dogtor is extremely tolerant of him but after a while I intervene because he'd do it till he was exhausted otherwise and it's not fair to push her patience too much!

This one is going on by the boiler to replace the one that crashed :) they use it to climb up to the top of the boiler where they have a rug where it's warm and secret .

I have to take a break because I have used my beans up but all the cats are helping erect a new car tree ( I found three hammocks and am adding one from their old tree .

I experienced this in primary care - in fact my doctor had me go in and go up and down her office stairs three times a week . I just got worse and worse and worse.

I in fact count the occupational care really helpful . They told me I was expecting far too much of myself and their 'pacing ' times were things like 'sit up in bed for 30 secs every half hour' not try and walk five miles.

I don't really care what you do to books while reading them so long as you're reading them.

Cracked spines, folded pages, greasy thumbprints, half ripped pages, water damage and books deformed from being stuffed in pockets are all battle scars of the journey you took.
