Lucius smiles. “Yes, I’m fine, I wasn’t hurt.” Then he looks around. “Babe, I thought you said you worked at Fortnum’s in London? What are you doing here?”

Lucius’ jaw drops. This is the cute guy he picked up at the Dog and Duck two weekends ago, had the best sex in ages, and then got the phone number of. And lost it the next day in a freak accident involving a seagull, a bicycle and a pekinese. Don’t ask. Seriously. You don’t want to know.
