Getting involved in orgs and focusing on what can be done locally has actually been incredibly helpful in this respect. Even if you don't see direct impact immediately, you can feel that you are at least *working* towards something good

I’m not sorry for saying this what they did to our captured relatives was beyond cruelty. They were stripped of their dignity, tortured with electricity, and treated like less than human. It was horror designed to erase their humanity.
