There's no suggestion that Trump's "pressure" is anything other than diplomatic.

With so much destruction - to people (over 1 in 10 killed / injured) and to infrastructure (90% of schools damaged / destroyed) - a ceasefire would be only the very beginning of recovery.

As Jewish people know well, trauma can last generations.
