Morrison invoking AI alike to "God" indicates a severe misunderstanding of how AI appropriates the work of thousands, including their own, and someone needs to rectify their understanding ASAP.

But also it's a severe disservice to their colleagues anyway to use it and justify it like this.

The corps forget that a prize can make a fan for life of not just a show, but of a company.

We do try to get a few full series ones in - I know @mdthomas.bsky.social is working on a couple - but they're just hard to fit into things.

I miss doing full-season Blu-ray reviews. It's left a big hole in my heart.

a streaming season. And unfortunately, when a season ends, a whole new season starts and most people just want to read about the first few episodes of all the new shows.

It's another way that things have enshittified because you lose a big-picture view of a project that's often very useful.

I saw a post on the weeb wednesday thing about how you don't see as many complete series reviews anymore. I sympathized with that a lot because I used to do a ton of them - when they were DVD/BD collections. Most of us (any?) don't get them anymore, so it's trying to fit a CS review amid...

Every anime fan should have at least one Blu-ray player. 4K UHD Blu-ray if you can swing it, consoles and PC’s with disc drives count, just get something that will playback discs. If you’re younger and grew up on streaming, please just listen to old people on this one thing: Get a Blu-ray player.

And it's like, he does have a point, I'm not thrilled that Markey is running again at 79. But unlike with Mills trying to *start* a senate career in Maine at 79, Markey's going into his last term with a ton of experience and connections that I want him to use.

Moulton's just off-putting at best.
